How to find us

You can travel directly to Locanda degli Este in your own car or motorbike, by train at Ferrara-Codigoro station or by plane at Bologna, Rimini or Venice airports. 

From Bologna

Take the A13 motorway until Ferrara, exiting at the Ferrara Sud tollbooth. Continue on the Ferrara-Lidi superstrada in the direction of Lidi Ferraresi. Take the SS Romea 309 in direction of Venice for about 16 km until you reach Pomposa Abbey. Continue for another 800 metres, then turn left at the junction in the direction of Caprile.  

From Ferrara

Take the Ferrara-Lidi superstrada and SS Romea 309 as indicated above. Alternatively you could take the provincial road for Copparo (less used but a more scenic route) and continue on the SP Gran Linea until SS Romea. Follow the directions for Ravenna and continue for about 3 km. Then turn right in the direction of Caprile. 

From Rimini

Head in the direction of Venice: follow the SS Romea 309 until Pomposa Abbey, continue for another 800 metres, then turn left (leaving the Romea) in the direction of Caprile.  

From Venezia

Take the SS Romea 309 in the direction of Ravenna for about 90 km. To get to the Locanda degli Este, leave the Romea turning right in the direction of Caprile.
